Organic grass-fed/finished beef suet:
Tallow is the purified fat source from cows and contains proteins that are essential building blocks of every cell membrane in your skin. The fats help to absorb minerals, provide energy, and contains the vitamins D, A, K, & E making it incredibly healing for your skin. Despite popular belief, tallow is not greasy and won’t clog your pores. In fact, it will help regulate sebum production and assist in shrinking enlarged pores. Additionally, the composition of tallow helps to replenish the skin with essential fat-soluble vitamins, resulting in improved overall skin appearance and repairing the skin’s barrier, improving the skin's resistance to stress, toxins, and pollutants. To learn more, visit the "our tallow" page located on the main menu.
Organic jojoba oil:
Despite its name, Jojoba oil is actually considered a wax and is rich in fat soluble vitamins. It closely mimics the skins natural oils (sebum) and is very light weight. The diverse composition of fatty acids work synergistically to improve your skins water retention, allowing it to stay hydrated for longer without clogging your pores. It is a potent source of vitamin E; strengthening your skins barrier, reducing inflammation, improving elasticity and protecting your skin against damaging free radicals.
Wild harvested juniper berries:
Juniper berries are best known for their powerful detoxifying properties that helps to encourage healthy lymphatic drainage and removing congestion in the skin. They are a great source of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants that are essential for collagen synthesis, blood vessel function, protection from free radicals, and evening skin tone.
Wild harvested spruce resin:
Spruce resin has been used for centuries for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects, making it useful for reducing pain, swelling, and redness associated with wounds. Spruce resin also contains antioxidant which can help to protect against oxidative damage and promote tissue regeneration. It is very effective in promoting wound healing by increasing blood flow to the affected area, and reducing the appearance of scars.
